Welcome to our home in the wonderful Robin Hood’s Bay. West Royd is a Victorian property built around 1899 and lovingly restored over the years to incorporate the wonders of ‘oldie worldly feel with modern day facilities’.

Conveniently located in the upper Bay area near to the Victoria Hotel in prime location to enjoy the splendid views of both the Bay and the North Yorkshire Moors, West Royd is an ideal base to explore the Cleveland Way and the many other wonders on offer here at Robin Hood’s Bay and the surrounding areas. The beach and lower Bay are literally minutes away from the front door as are the many restaurants in and around the village.

We are delighted to offer 3 guest rooms all with en-suite facilities, recently refurbished to a high standard with super soft white bedlinen and a pillow selection to ensure you have a lovely night’s sleep, along with white fluffy towels and complementary toiletries.

Both The Bay and The Wainwright Rooms have additional seating that allows you to comfortably enjoy the beautiful views from the window. Guests may check in from 3pm onwards and check out is 11am. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. Free car parking is also available.
